Practical learning

 In He Puna Kawenga we have been doing our Practical learning Task, Practical learning is about creating Headphone bags and sowing things together for some of us it was challenging because we had to use needles. The class got to choose our own material or Fabric. For mine I chose is black and white dots and a plain blue piece of Fabric. The part I found challenging is when I had to write my name in block letters and then cut and sow my letters on. The part I enjoyed is when I was finished. I was surprised that my headphone bag was done and was really proud.   

My Year 6 WIS Visit

On Wednesday, It was the Year 6's visit  at WIS!. The tasks at WIS were Art materials , Music, cooking and Science. Before we had to go to each class we had to split into 4 or 5 groups and then we would get sent to each class, some groups did not get through all because we did not have much time to. My first class was Cooking here are some photo's of the things I went to! We had so much fun! 

Fact or Fiction?

As my aunty and others go down to the dam , where the bull’s club rooms are. Me and Leah went just across to the club-rooms to the skate park bit. We march down and we were there it did not take very long tho. “SWEAT WE HAVE THIS TO OURSELVES!! Yelled Lala..Well that’s what I call her!. Aunty came and said “We are going to be at the club rooms ok!”. “Sweat Yep” said me and lala looking down at our scooters.  We split up like a banana… Twenty minutes later I was scooting down the side wall...Until I went face first and cried and laugh at the same time. Because I was funny!.


It was a cold freezing icy winter day when I was biking down until I plunged my head on a big fat branch that hurt and fell of my bike “Ouch I screamed hearring my older sister go! HAHAHAHAHA!!”. “SHOOSH!” I Instantly yelled. “Fine Fine Fine”. As we were walking and biking to the shop a woman pulled over got out of the car a pulled us in. My face looked stuffed up!. I said “where are we going?”... she whispered “ Somewhere”... Half in hour later the lady started to get annoyed because I was talking too much… This is what the woman said “ I am Martha what's your name?”.” Oh Mine Uhh its Kingsley Hahahahaha!” in a happy voice.... Ten minutes later Martha kicked me and my sister out of the car!. “See Ya!” .“Hahahahaha Bye Martha!.


It was a dark and shady night when I was sleeping and hiccuping at the same time...Weird right??... Anyway I woke up from it and my window was open I thought I shut it…. I was wrong Hahahaha!. I got up and shut it. Went back to sleep… Woke said good morning to myself and leah was still sleeping. 2 hours later It was time to go to cloud nine!!. We were there leah and me got dropped of. The boy’s went down to Mac’s and got us some.  I was jumping until I did a backflip I did not know how I did that I just did. OMG CUZ YOU DID A BACK-FLIP! AHHHHHH! I was like Yassss!. “ Ok the boys are here”!. FOOD OmG I was dying for food! And yes I am a piggy sometimes. We were done eating and went back to the tramps. I tried to do another backflip. Nope did not do it. I got embarrassed. I didn't care anyway.

WATER CYCLE IN A BAG!!

In He Puna Kawenga, We have been doing a water cycle experiment, called water cycle in a bag.  It is like dropping down pure water back into the Ocean and rivers. Here is what it looked like!.

Evaporation is when the water evaporate from the pond.

Condensation is when it is when it's in the clouds

Precipitation is when it drops into earth again and its called pure water.

Collection is when it's all together again in ponds and lakes and the ocean.

Girls Football!.

In He Puna Kawenga we did Football. The person that was teaching us was Matt. First we played a couple of games then we had some teams. Then we had to face other people.Here are some photos.
